Health Promotion

Senior Connections offers several health promotion evidence-based workshops, that can help you maintain your independence and help manage your life.

Workshops are being offered free or for a minimal donation for materials for Douglas County residents.

If you are interested in participating in one of these programs, please contact Ciara at Senior Connections 715-394-3611 or email Ciara at caregiver@seniorconnectionswi.org

Join us Tuesday, February 18th for a coffee hour here at the Senior Center for a little appreciation and recognition of National Senior Independence Month.

A time to recognize the contributions of senior centers and retirement organizations, and to support the independence of older adults in our communities. Independence gives seniors a sense of purpose. This allows them to contribute to the lives of their family, friends, and neighbors, and enjoy activities that they’ve always done.

We will have coffee and donuts available and just a time for you to connect with others.

New Year, new location, and name but same amazing support and connections! Our previous “Caregiver Conversations” support group previously held at the United Presbyterian Church is now “Resilient Caregivers” and will be held at the Superior YMCA in their multi-purpose room. 2pm to 3pm.
For any questions please contact Ciara at Senior Connections 715-394-3611.
