Senior Connections is incredibly proud to share that we helped distribute approximately $6,725 in Senior Farmers’ Market Vouchers to the older adults throughout Douglas County, WI during the 2026 season!
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) helps eligible older adults access fresh, locally grown foods while also supporting local farmers and agricultural producers. These vouchers help participants purchase eligible foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey from participating farmers and markets.
We are so happy to see so many people participating in the program this year, and we are incredibly thankful to the farmers, markets, and community partners who help make this resource possible each year!
REMINDER: As of October 1, 2026, Senior Connections is no longer able to distribute vouchers for the 2026 season.
If you already received your vouchers, you still have time to use them! All 2026 vouchers expire on October 31, 2026, so please be sure to use any remaining vouchers before the end of the month.
