& Senior Community Lunches
Senior Connections routinely provides over 60,000 meals a year to participants in Douglas County, WI. These meals are delivered at our four available Senior Community Lunches sites, and through our home-delivered Meals on Wheels program. For more information, please call the Senior Connections office and ask for Karen, our Nutrition Director to get started!.

"Hello Senior Connections Family!
My name is Karen LaBare, and I am absolutely thrilled to join you as your new Nutrition Director. Superior has been my home for 20 years. It is where I met my husband, raised our three children. I have spent over 13 years working in the Superior School District in food service and family engagement.
Nutritious food and strong relationships are my passions. Whether I see you in one of our congregate dining rooms or in your home, I’m excited to meet you and work together to strengthen our nutrition programs and our community. I look forward to connecting with each of you, so please feel free to reach out, call, or say hello!"
