Join us Tuesday, February 18th for a coffee hour here at the Senior Center for a little appreciation and recognition of National Senior Independence Month.
A time to recognize the contributions of senior centers and retirement organizations, and to support the independence of older adults in our communities. Independence gives seniors a sense of purpose. This allows them to contribute to the lives of their family, friends, and neighbors, and enjoy activities that they’ve always done.
We will have coffee and donuts available and just a time for you to connect with others.
St. Luke’s Hospice Duluth® is looking for volunteers! Hospice volunteers can provide a number of different services to patients and their families such as companionship visits, respite for caregivers, music therapy, pet therapy, grief support, haircutting services, vet-to-vet conversation and more.
If you are searching for a valuable, heartfelt, rewarding role and a chance to help others in our community, please contact Lily Kline, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, at Lily.Kline@slhduluth.com or 218.249.6105.
