Our Services

Senior Connections provides specialized transportation services, and maintains a Loan Closet of durable medical equipment. Additionally, Senior Connections provides “Information & Assistance” to seniors and caregivers to assist them in finding programs and services that may be available in Douglas County. Please click on “Loan Closet,” “Specialized Transportation,” or “Information and Assistance” for more information regarding each of these programs.

If the School District of Superior closes due to weather conditions (e.g. snow or low temperatures) Senior Connections will also close.  No meals will be delivered on those days (at any location or home-delivered) and our offices will be closed.  Please make sure you have food on hand in the event of a closing.

If you dine at a rural meal site and the school district in which that site is located closes due to weather conditions, the site will be closed on that day.  If you live in a rural school district (e.g. Maple, Solon Springs) and that district closes there will be no home delivered meals that day.  Gordon meal site & Gordon area home-delivered meals could be affected if either Solon Springs or Minong (Northwoods) school districts close.

Campus Café at University of Wisconsin Superior: Campus Café will close if the University closes due to weather or some other reason (regardless of what the School District of Superior does).

If you have a question about weather closings call our main office:  715-394-3611.
